We all know living in Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island is PRICEY. Whether its searching for affordable rents or for a new home to buy, our region is one of the most expensive places to live in the world.
A recent Vancity report found that housing affordability in most municipalities in the Lower Mainland and Greater Victoria has gotten worse, decreasing in some areas by as much as 38 per cent in the last year.
Vancouver, West Vancouver, Richmond and Burnaby are some of the most unaffordable municipalities in the region but there still are places in Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island where you can find more affordable options outside the bug city, according to the report.
