We want to connect, share, and celebrate with all our members at this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is being held in person for the first time since 2019, in addition to online and presented at select branches, which will be hosting a live webcast.
Join us, starting at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the Anvil Centre in New Westminster, where it’ll be a hub of activity as you enjoy complimentary light refreshments, browse our Community Marketplace, and network with members before the meeting.
Later in the evening at the formal AGM business meeting, you’ll hear the Board of Directors election results and highlights from the past year, including how your deposits are making a difference in your community. Plus, just by attending (either online or in person), you’ll automatically be entered to win 1 of 2 $1,000 cashable term deposits.*

Every year, we share 30 per cent of our profits with our members and communities, supporting important causes like affordable housing, financial inclusion, and community revitalization. At the AGM, we’ll highlight some of the organizations and important voices that your deposits have helped support in 2024.

AGMs offer members like you a forum to hold our credit union accountable. Our Board of Directors and Management will be present and keen to engage with members throughout the AGM event. They welcome all of your tough questions—whether they’re about how we’re supporting community or what the next year will have in store.

The Board is your voice at Vancity. It represents our members and is responsible for setting the strategic direction in partnership with Management, and supervising the operation of, the credit union.
