Here is a list of items typically on sale in November:

• Fall clothing: Now that fall is in full swing, you’ll find fall merchandise on sale. Black Friday and Cyber Monday will also help push out leftover fall stock. Sweater prices can drop by as much as half, and you’ll find great deals on boots, sandals, coats, evening dresses, and handbags. 
• Large appliances: Black Friday may be a tradition started by our friends south of the border, but you can now find deals here in B.C., too. Retailers are starting to offer more deals to keep shoppers in town so you can score savings on large appliances like refrigerators, dishwashers and washing machines. But make sure you do your research prices before, because not everything is a good deal. Here are some great tips for shopping on Black Friday.
• Halloween costumes and treats: It may sound odd, but the best time to get a Halloween costume is after you’ve done your trick-or-treating. You can dave upwards of 50% on costumes in early November. It’s also a great time to pick up Halloween candy for a snack or to bake with since stores may sell it for up to 60% less.
